Full house reconstruction
We designed the full reconstruction of the house, including a new basement under the full footprint of the property, and into the rear garden. The original house was knocked down, leaving only the front wall and party wall standing!
Using every space
The building, which was completed in December 2017, also benefitted from a large rear and side extension and new rooms within the roof space. The basement design incorporated a small rectangular patio, ensuring the downstairs living space had plenty of natural light.
Knowledge of building techniques
We used our knowledge of building techniques to help the Contractor develop a method of construction for the basement which helped to keep the project completion on time.
