Good Communications
Croft collaborated with LMG Building Services Ltd to design a vital extension for Beckenham Rugby Club.
Steel frame
The structure seamlessly connects the new kitchen and dining area to the existing building, offering panoramic views of the rugby pitches. A Steel frame was used to provide a large open area for dinners. A metal deck was employed to support the roof: This removed purlins and roof bracing, allowing for a cleaner ceiling line. The deck was designed as a “stressed deck” forming rigid plate on the roof. Lateral wind loads are transferred through the deck to the diagonal wall bracing. Stages works
Our dedication to clear communication is evident in every project we embark on, and the Rugby Club extension exemplifies how teamwork and design can enhance the sporting experience for all club members. The Rugby club aim to add a gym to the other end of the club house. Phase II is already design and awaiting funding.
