Conversion of this existing Victorian property
Croft Structural & Civil were involved from the planning stage to the construction of the conversion of this existing Victorian property into 11 apartments with a retail unit on the ground.
A Challenging Construction
Croft completed a Construction Method Statement for Hammersmith and Fulham. The design included a basement of the full footprint of the building, including a lightwell to the rear and a full renovation of the superstructure to include several flats. The construction was challenging due to the sequence of works which the contractor followed completing the superstructure prior to the basement works.
High End Specification
Our expertise in Temporary works meant that we were able to include these in the design. Croft provided advice and design/drawings to minimise movement and cracking to the upper floors. The finished product featured exposed steelwork to the basement and ground floor levels as well as high end spec to the living areas at the upper floors.
