Full Footprint
Croft Structural + Civil completed the structural design for a significant basement development for a 3-storey detached residence located in Richmond. The basement spans an impressive 36m long covering the full footprint and extends seamlessly into the garden area.
A closed box
Croft designed a metal deck floor at the ground floor level inside the building. A reinforced concrete roof slab was designed above the garden basement. The new metal deck floor and the concrete roof slab act to stabilise the basement making it a closed box.
The basement spans 36m in length extending into the garden.
