Solid Foundations are crucial
The main challenge was the sloping ground which resulted in the property being stepped down on two levels with a central corridor and stairway. Our expert knowledge of ground conditions came to the forefront when designing such complex foundations.
SIPS Panels
Croft has vast experience working on timber builds and are advocates of its sustainable qualities. The superstructure was built using structurally insulated panels (SIPs). A good understanding of a product is crucial, and Croft were lucky to have previously acted as engineers (for a leading European supplier of SIPS Panels) helping them to develop the product within the UK.
